CityHill was formed out of a revelation of urban communities filled with much hurt and brokenness, including loneliness, suffering, injustice, hate, selfishness, fatherlessness, motherlessness, hard-heartedness, drunkenness, addictions, unseeing eyes, darkness, evil, misunderstanding, depression, hopelessness, sickness, no dignity, and so much more.
As the Gospel manifests itself communities can be redeemed, and increasingly these healed communities can then reflect joy, healed families, love, praise, healed hearts, fun, destiny and purpose achievement, fulfilment, peace, love, hope, justice, dignity, respect, a future, Gospel living, fatherhood, motherhood, and more. Our further belief is that as we are obedient to God’s work in us, we can be His hands and feet. Our obedience can be practically worked out through providing various redeeming activities and service.
